Advanced Data Protection and Replication in Hitachi Vantara Environments

Description
This training program was custom-designed for a Storage Administrator with existing experience as an Ops Center Administrator. The objective is to consolidate and deepen skills in protection and replication functions, directly leveraging the client’s VSP environment.
Learning Objectives
- Distinguish and choose the appropriate protection strategy based on the expected service level (RTO/RPO)
- Configure and administer local replication: ShadowImage and Thin Image (snapshots)
- Understand the architecture and implement HUR (Hitachi Universal Replicator) for asynchronous remote replication
- Understand the architecture and prerequisites of GAD (Global Active Device) for synchronous active-active replication
- Use Ops Center Protector to define protection policies, monitor replication, and manage alerts
- Apply these skills to your own production environment
