Fundamentals of Project Management
Description
Master the fundamentals of project management by understanding the key stages of the project lifecycle, principles of planning, budgeting and risk management. Participants will learn to design, plan, monitor and evaluate a project within an academic or institutional framework, using practical tools and adapted steering methods. Red thread of the training Throughout the 3 days, participants work on a red thread project: the creation of a fictional academic event at UCLouvain (conference, forum, thematic week or interfaculty project). This project serves as a practical support for the training: defining objectives, planning, budgeting, risk analysis and final evaluation. Each session is based on this red thread project to link theory and concrete application.
