Description
Training objective: Empower public sector actors to understand their obligations regarding Open Data, identify data to be published, implement effective governance and publication policies, and master tools for data valorization, particularly via the ODWB portal. The program is designed to last two days. It can also be divided into four half-day sessions of 3.5 hours each.
Learning Objectives
- Understand current and upcoming legal obligations (Decree 2022 and its upcoming order).
- Identify relevant data to publish as Open Data.
- Structure an effective Open Data governance within their organization.
- Apply best practices for data management, documentation, and dissemination.
- Use the ODWB (Opendatasoft) platform to publish, search, or enhance data.

Open Data Referents / DPOs / IT Managers
Elected Officials in Charge of Transparency, Participation, or Digital
Prerequisites
None.
Knowledge of the activities and data produced by the organization is desirable.
