Description
Training Objective: Acquire the necessary skills to develop applications using SQL Server, manipulate database objects, optimize queries, perform data processing, carry out common developer maintenance operations, and master data import/export.
Learning Objectives
- Create a database, its tables, and apply necessary constraints
- Insert, update, and delete data while using transactions to manage these operations
- Create SQL queries to extract data from the database
- Understand and optimize query plans, as well as the use of indexes to improve performance of complex queries
- Create SQL functions, stored procedures for data processing, and implement triggers to automate actions in response to events
- Perform common database backup and restoration operations
- Maintain indexes to ensure optimal performance
- Import and export data to and from the database
